In addition to our annual catalogue customers are kept regularly informed of our current stocks with our ‘Weekly Looking Good’ lists downloaded from this web site, email or fax. Lists always show the prices so all you have to do is fill in the quantities required, along with your retail prices and return to our sales office. All orders will be confirmed by return.

Mahood Brothers have been growing top quality nurserystock since 1910. The company operates from 50 acres at Lathom comprising of field growing, despatch and a Cash & Carry operation. In addition we have 6 acres of container growing at Hesketh Bank and have recently acquired a further four acres to expand this operation.

We started growing garden centre material in the late 80’s due to demand from existing customers, who were seeking a high quality product for their retail outlets, yet still with competitive pricing.

Since then we have steadily increased the range and quantity we produce annually for our Garden Centre customers, continually improving our systems for packing, despatch and marketing along the way

Labelling & Bar-coding

All our plants are despatched with full descriptive colour label. Our systems also allow pre-pricing and bar-coding of all stock you require. Please indicate if you wish to use this FREE service. Barcodes are normally forwarded by email or fax at time of order confirmation to allow time to update your epos system.
Pre-priced/Bar-coded labels are normally stuck to side of pots.

Deliveries

Most orders are delivered by our own transport. We have experienced drivers who know the quality of service our customers expect.
All plants are despatched on Danish trolleys which can be exchanged upon delivery. The trolleys are wrapped with perforated polythene to prevent damage of sweating during transport.
